On the Independence of Children｜子どもの独立について

When children grow up and leave their parents’ home, it is inevitable that a sense of emptiness will arise in the hearts of the parents, for humanity is created with inherent weakness. Yet, God, in His compassion, has given four duties to ensure that the hearts of believers remain ever filled with purpose and vitality. Through these duties, parents may find meaning in their daily lives and fill the emptiness with the strength of faith. In the land of rest promised by God, the joyful times shared with their children will once again be restored. As they await that day, believers walk forward in the present.

子こどもが独立どくりつして家いえを離はなれるとき、親おやの心こころに空虚くうきょさが生しょうじるのは、人ひとが弱よわさを持もつ存在そんざいであるがゆえ避さけられないことである。しかし、神かみはその弱よわさを憐あわれみ、信者しんじゃの心こころが常つねに活気かっきに満みちるように、四よっつの義務ぎむを与あたえられた。それにより、親おやたちは日々ひびの生活せいかつに意義いぎを見み出いだし、信仰しんこうの力ちからでその空虚くうきょを満みたすことができる。そして、神かみの約束やくそくする安息あんそくの地ちでは、子こどもたちとの楽たのしい時ときが再ふたたび訪おとずれるであろう。その日ひを待まちながら、信者しんじゃは今いまを歩あゆむのである。
