God has made life finite, and the path leading to its end is set in various ways. Illness that comes with aging is one such path, granted by God’s will. No matter how much we may try to change this process, God’s power surpasses all, and it cannot be fully defied. Yet, there is a promise we are called to believe in. By trusting in the land of rest that God has prepared, our hearts find comfort, and the suffering brought by illness is eased.
