信者しんじゃは、自身じしんの収入しゅうにゅうの20分ぶんの1を超こえて寄付きふを行おこなうことは許ゆるされない。この制約せいやくは、過度かどな負担ふたんを避さけ、日常にちじょう生活せいかつの安定あんていを守まもるために設もうけられている。寄付きふの計算けいさんは暦年れきねん単位たんいで行おこない、その年としの全収入ぜんしゅうにゅうをもとに定さだめられる。より多おおくの寄付きふを望のぞむ者ものは、まずその収入しゅうにゅうを増ふやす努力どりょくをしなければならない。努力どりょくを通つうじて得えられる成果せいかは、安息あんそくの地ちに至いたるより強つよい確信かくしんを得えるための手助てだすけとなり、その信仰しんこうをさらに深ふかめるだろう。
